Brooke and I were out pulling weeds in the nice sunny weather today, and we spotted this pretty yellow flower. Brooke asked me, "Mom, what are those lines on the flowlel (flower)?" I said, "It's part of the flower." She piped in, "No, they're bees legs." I didn't know it was a quiz, I just thought she really wanted to know what they were. Apparently she already knew.

I love it when kids test us! They just want to know if we are really interest or paying attention. I think kids are much smarter than we think. Preston is already looking over his shorlder when he's fussing to see if I'm paying attention to him:)
