"Housecleaning Makes You Ugly"
That’s my new favorite quote. I started cleaning the garage last night, and am working on it today. I haven’t showered because the garage is so dirty—showering doesn’t make sense. The clothes I’m wearing are hideous, and I wouldn’t want to be caught dead in them. Maybe that’s one of the reasons I don’t like housecleaning (actually there are several reasons). I feel so frumpy when I know I have to clean the house, and if I’ve made an effort to get ready and put makeup on, well, housecleaning ruins all that. I think I’d like a plaque made of the above saying, so on those days when my house is looking it’s worst, and I’m looking my best, perhaps I won’t feel so guilty. Besides, only dull women have immaculate houses. NOTE: I’M NOT ADDING PHOTOS TO THIS POST.

Oh, I think I need a photo--big time!:)
I love it. I always look frumpy I think. With four kids I'm always cleaning up. And with the baby I'm always being spit up upon. Can't put on nice clothes just to take them off five minutes later to be washed!
I'm going to make that sign as well. Although I can't let the cleaners that come over once a month see it. That wouldn't be nice!:)
